Bucs up to 11th in Sports Illustrated power rankings

bucslogo.jpgOkay, admit it, even in your wildest dreams you never imagined the Bucs being 11th in anyone's power rankings at any point this season, especially not a week before Thanksgiving. But that's where the Bucs are in the latest Sports Illustrated power rankings. SI NFL writer Don Banks writes:

The more you win in the NFL, the greedier you get to keep those good vibrations going every week. But in some ways, the rookie-rich Bucs are playing with house money for the rest of 2010. They've already doubled their win total from last season, and gone a long way toward establishing that general manager Mark Dominik, head coach Raheem Morris and quarterback Josh Freeman were the correct choices. That's a pretty good year's work right there.
