Bucs 17th in Sports Illustrated power rankings
To be honest with you, I think there are more than 16 teams in the NFL which are better the Bucs. But the Bucs are, nevertheless, 17th in the latest Sports Illustrated power rankings. SI NFL writer Don Banks writes:
The Bucs had almost no running game (42 yards on 18 carries) against the Saints, and their run defense performed at 2009 levels (212 yards allowed on 32 carries). That's what you would call some serious regression by Raheem Morris' young club, but this week brings a chance for redemption at home against the improved Rams. For a change, the Bucs' Josh Freeman gets to be the veteran quarterback in the game.
The Steelers, Jets and Patriots are at the top, while the Bills, Panthers and Browns bring up the rear. Click here for the complete rankings.
