Bucs move up in Sports Illustrated rankings

bucslogo.jpgThe Bucs have moved 17 to 16 in the latest NFL power rankings from Sports Illustrated. SI's NFL writer Don Banks writes:

The Bucs are taking care of business against all the teams in their weight class this season, and that's plenty good enough to contend in the so-so NFC. With five come-from-behind wins in his 15 career starts, Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman continues to emerge as one of the more prescient draft picks in recent league history.

Alas, Banks does not list the Bucs as the best NFC team, as much as Raheem Morris might want him to. On the power rankings, the Bucs are considered the eighth best NFC team behind the Giants, Falcons, Eagles, Saints, Redskins, Packers and Seahawks. Click here to see the entire list.
