Cheap shot of the day
Red Wings thug Todd Bertuzzi continues to spread his form of sunshine around the NHL. You might remember this is the same guy who, while with the Vancouver Canucks, ended the career of Colorado's Steve Moore back in February of 2004 with a sucker-punch to the back of the back of the head before slamming the front of his head into the ice. On Monday night, Bertuzzi looked a WWE wrestler as he gave a flying elbow to the head of Chicago's Ryan Johnson. He was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct and is now waiting to hear if the league has additional punishment for him. Bertuzzi did apologize to Johnson, who said he didn't think the hit was "malicious.''
