Cool story of the day
You're going to love this story. A hockey team of 16- and 17-year-olds from Edmonton was in the Phoenix area for a hockey tournament when the trailer holding all their equipment overnight was stolen. The team assumed it would have to forfeit and go home. Tournament organizers pushed their games back to give them time to come up with a plan. The coach called the equipment manager of the Edmonton Oilers, who, in turn, called the equipment manager of the Phoenix Coyotes. And, ta-da, the Coyotes delivered equipment to the team so they could continue in the tournament. A mom of the one of the players said, "Really, it brings a tear to my eye when you think about what they actually did for these 16-year-old kids who are just trying to play hockey in Phoenix."
