Cycling takes another hit
Floyd Landis dropped another bomb on cycling today. After being stripped of the 2006 Tour de France title for testing positive for blood doping, Landis has finally admitted to blood doping and performance-enhancing drug use throughout his career. But here's the bomb: he lobbed a few accusations at Lance Armstrong, saying Armstrong helped instruct Landis on how to do it and that Armstrong, himself, used these illegal methods. Armstrong, who for years has fought off allegations by pointing out that he has never failed a drug test, hasn't responded yet, but you have to know he's going to come out swinging because that's what Armstrong always does. Landis admitted all this in e-mails to several parties, including the Wall Street Journal. You can read that story here. And here's an ESPN.com story about it, as well. Brace yourself, this ride is going to get real bumpy.
