Florida president rips into "grayshirting''
Wednesday is National Signing Day as high school senior football players pick which schools they will attend. But many schools offer more scholarships than they are allowed to have. In the end, those schools often back out of their commitments, leaving the student-athletes with nowhere to go. It's called "grayshirting.'' And Florida president Bernie Machen said, "Morally, it's reprehensible.''
