Glazers still not popular in England
Interesting story in the United Kingdom's Daily Telegraph about the Glazers and Manchester United. Click here to read it. The gist of it is there's an angry group that still wants to buy Man U away from the Glazers, but it doesn't appear as if that will ever happen.
The Telegraph writes:
Speaking in America, where he was promoting United's pre-season tour, (Manchester United chief executive David) Gill addressed the issue of the takeover bid being constructed by the Red Knights. And he consigned it to history. United are not for sale, he insisted, and anyway the Red Knights were in no position to come up with enough cash to tempt the Glazer family even if they were.
