Interesting take on Jim Gray

gray.Jim Gray has become a polarizing figure in the world of sports media. Some see him as a bulldog reporter who asks the tough questions, as he did when he continually pressed Pete Rose about whether Rose gambled on baseball. Others see him as someone who too often inserts himself into the story as he did twice recently -- once when he publicly confronted U.S. Ryder Cup team captain Corey Pavin and also when he completely bungled the LeBron James decision interview. Anyway, click here for an excellent piece on Gray by Richard Sandomir, the superb sports media critic from the New York Times.
