Meet the most despised team in baseball

League The most-despised team in baseball? You would think it's the Yankees or maybe the Red Sox. Turns out, it's the Cleveland Indians. That's what the Wall Street Journal says. Using some smarty-pants formula that you would expect someone like the smarty-pants at the Wall Street Journal to use, it was determined the Indians are baseball's most despised team. The paper used an Internet algorithm built by Nielsen Co. that analyzes how people feel about certain things. This service typically uses various keywords to find out whether people have positive, negative or neutral reactions to different brands and products. (Note: the previous two sentences were cut-and-pasted out of the Wall Street Journal because, to be honest, I have no idea what all that means.) I also don't get why anyone would hate Cleveland. The Indians haven't won a World Series since 1954. They're in a pattern of losing their best players (see: Sabathia, C.C. and Lee, Cliff) and aren't expected to go anywhere this season. Plus, that movie Major League was okay, right?

According to the WSJ, here are the 10 most despised teams in baseball:
1. Cleveland Indians
2. Boston Red Sox*
3. Cincinnati Reds
4. Houston Astros
5. New York Yankees*
6. Washington Nationals
7. Chicago White Sox
8. Baltimore Orioles*
9. New York Mets
10. Los Angeles Dodgers
