MLB Network to air Strasburg debut

Steve Can you remember a more anticipated major-league debut than Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg? The first overall pick in the 2009 draft will make his big-league debut next Tuesday at home against the Pirates and MLB Network has announced it will televise the game at 7 p.m.. Bob Costas will call the game with analysis from Jim Kaat and John Smoltz. Strasburg, who has hit 100 mph on the radar gun, has sped through the Nats minor-league system. He has a combined 6-2 record with a 1.43 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 50 1/3 innings in stints this season with Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Syracuse.
