NBA official and fan play catch -- not in a friendly way

Another example of an official on a power trip. During Tuesday night's Magic-Celtics game, a fan heckled NBA referee Joe DeRosa. Acting like a calm and cool professional, what did DeRosa do? He chidlishly tossed the basketball at the fan, who tossed it back. Then Derosa tossed something else -- the fan to another seat. The fan, according to this story in the Orlando Sentinel, was Wyndham Vacation Ownership CEO Franz Hanning, a 55-year-old Orlando resident who is an acquaintance of Celtics coach Doc Rivers. The NBA said it is reviewing the incident. Now who knows exactly what Hanning said? Maybe he deserved to be tossed. And a fan getting in the face of an official is not a smart idea, but neither is an NBA ref tossing a ball at a fan. Hanning should've taken the pass and walked away with it.
