Never too early for a mock draft

smith.jpgHey Bucs fans, how do you feel about Missouri defensive end Aldon Smith? The NFL playoffs haven't even started, but already we have a 2011 NFL mock draft. Sports Illustrated's Andrew Perloff put together his early-early-really-early mock draft for non-playoff teams and decided Smith, a pass rusher, would be a good fit in Tampa Bay. Of course, a billion things could happen between now and the draft, but the point of this exercise is to point out the Bucs need a pass rusher. Perloff writes:

Smith missed most of last season with a broken leg, but had 11.5 sacks the season before. The Bucs didn't have any players who reached five sacks last season and have to find a way to get after quarterbacks like Matt Ryan and Drew Brees.
