NFL commissioner is willing to work for $1
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he will work for $1 if the NFL has a work stoppage after the Collective Bargaining Agreement ends in March. Goodell, who makes about $10 million a year, said the league's chief negotiator, Jeff Pash, also will work for $1. Pash reportedly makes about $5 million a year. So, is there going to be a work stoppage in the NFL next season? Who knows, but Sports Illustrated senior NFL writer Peter King is about as plugged into the NFL as anyone and King said on the latest episode of HBO's Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel that he believes there will be a work stoppage next season.
