NHL Network to air Game 7 of 2004 Stanley Cup
Those with the NHL Network can take a stroll down memory lane and watch the Lightning's 2004 Stanley Cup Game 7 victory over the Flames on Friday at 8 p.m. The NHL Network is running a nightly special called "Raising the Cup: 35 Years of Stanley Cup Clinchers, 1975-2010.'' Game 7 of the 2004 final, like all the others in the series, will be shown from beginning to end as it appeared on television, and it includes footage of the Stanley Cup presentation, Conn Smythe Trophy presentation and the postgame celebration. The Lightning won 2004's Game 7, 2-1, behind the goaltending of Nikolai Khabibulin and two goals from Ruslan Fedotenko for the first and only Cup in franchise history. Man, seems like a million years ago, doesn't it?
