No vuvuzela for you!
According to the New York Post, a Yankees fan named Anthony Zachariadis spent part of Tuesday night's Yankees-Phillies game at Yankee Stadium blowing on a vuvuzela, one of those annoying bee-sounding horns you've been hearing at the World Cup. Security, however, took the vuvuzela away from the fan. The Yankees did not return calls from the Post seeking comment, but rules for fans posted on the team's Web site says fans cannot blow horns or use "distracting noisemakers.'' In a related note, Wimbledon also has banned vuvuzelas for its upcoming tournament.
