Red Lobster insults Kentucky football
It's bad enough when the national media makes fun of you, but when Red Lobster insults you, well, darn it, that's just crossing the line! Kentucky wide receiver Randall Cobb was eating at Red Lobster in Lexington when the hostess mistook him for a UK fan. She asked him how many games he thought Kentucky would win before they turned "horrible'' again. Cobb put the insult on his Twitter feed and then told reporters, "I just don't like people talking bad about my team. I have a lot of pride in what my team does and what we've been able to accomplish, and that was just something that didn't go so well when I walked in.'' Cobb says the chain restaurant has lost a customer, so take that Red Lobster! The Wildcats, by the way, are 3-0 but should turn back into horrible in time for Saturday's game against the ninth-ranked Gators.
