Report: Culpepper to UFL

Culpepper ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Dante Culpepper -- you know, the guy who actually was once one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL -- is on the verge of signing a deal to play in the United Football League. The deal would be with the Sacramento Mountain Lions. Makes sense, the Mountains coach and GM is Dennis Green, who coached Culpepper in Minnesota. Culpepper, 33, has played 11 seasons in the NFL with five teams. He spent the past two seasons with the Lions, throwing seven TDs and 12 interceptions over that time.
