Run Papi Run

Ortiz The Red Sox' David Ortiz doesn't hit as many homers as he used to, so apparently he's going to enjoy each one he hits as much as he can. When he homered Monday night off the Rays' Wade Davis, he took -- and this is incredible -- more than 30 seconds to get around the bases. There's a Web site out there that has something called the Tater Trot Tracker, which actually measures how long it takes for a player to get around the bases after cranking a homer. Click here to check it out. But it's not like he was rubbing it in to the Rays specifically. According to the Tater Trot Tracker, Ortiz has five of the top six slowest home run trots in the majors this season. In fact, Tater Trot Tracker figured out that it took Big Papi longer to get to second base Monday night than it took the A's Adam Rosales to circle the entire bases on a homer he hit back on April 28.
