Tim Tebow: baseball star

Tebow Is there anything Tim Tebow cannot do? While working out in Memphis, Tebow picked up a bat and took a few swings with a high school team in Memphis. Check it out: He saw 15 pitches and blasted 12 out of the park. No kidding.

His agent, Jimmy Sexton, told the Memphis Commercial Appeal, "The kids were just awed by how far he hit the ball. The best thing about Tim is he thinks he's just another guy and acts that way. He's oblivious to everything going on around him. He doesn't think he's a big deal.''

Tebow did play high school baseball before moving on to Florida. And how ironic that he's trying to become an NFL star playing quarterback in Denver, where another quarterback became a legend after seriously considering a career in baseball. That QB? John Elway, who spent some time in the minors with the Yankees organization.
