50 new jobs coming this quarter to Humana Cares national care center in St. Petersburg
Here's a posting that's a pleasure to offer. A chance at a new job, a rare commodity these days, right here in St. Petersburg.
Humana, Florida’s largest Medicare health-benefits company, plans to add about 50 more jobs, mostly nursing positions, in the first quarter to its Humana Cares national care center at the Carillon business park in St. Petersburg. The center has expanded from less than 200 employees from its start in late 2008 to 310 at the end of 2009. The center provides personalized health coaching via telephone, care management, health education and support to 30,000 Humana Medicare, low-income, disabled and Medicare/Medicaid dual-eligible members nationally. Humana said it will add 16,500 Humana members in the first quarter.
Here's a Venture blog posting from almost a year ago when Humana unveiled its new care center.
And here's one job listing for St. Petersburg from several now on Humana's Web site. More are promised. You can track the opportunities at Humana's Web site, specifically on this page by clicking on the St. Petersburg location. Good luck.
