Florida unemployment rate for March hits 9.7%
At least Florida hasn't joined California and the other members of the double-digit unemployment club … yet.
The state unemployment rate climbed to 9.7 percent in March, up from 9.4 percent a month earlier, according to figures released this morning by the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation. That translates to 893,000 jobless out of a labor force of 9.2 million.
