When it comes to satisfying small businesses, some banks excel, others lag way behind
We'll let the new J.D. Power survey on small business satisfaction -- better known as "which banks give better service?" -- survey results speak for themselves. I know this chart is hard to see. Go to the original here for a crisper view and more information.
But the key point is certain banks prominent in Florida -- BB&T, Regions, SunTrust among others -- fared well in the survey. And other banks big in this market -- Fifth Third, Chase -- did below average. And Florida's biggest bank by market share, Bank of America, came in dead last in satisfying small businesses -- a core piece of Florida's economy.
The study measures small business customer satisfaction with the overall banking experience in an examination of eight factors: account initiation/product offerings; account manager; facility; account information; problem resolution; credit services; fees; and account activities.
