PS3 rumors are awesomer when they're real rumors

A couple days ago I linked to the news that Sony may be planning an online service that's truly competitive with Xbox Live -- and that the PS3 might become a DVR, Location Free hub and more. This was all based on leaked scans allegedly from PlayStation Magazine. I just got home from the best (pre-)Valentine's Day gift trip ever, to Disney Quest (a ginormous, 5-story arcade and ride dealy at Downtown Disney; and yes I will gloat that I spent 11 hours at an arcade with my girlfriend, who played everything and whose new favorite game is Burger Time), and the new PSM was waiting in the mail (I still don't know why I'm suddenly getting it, never having subscribed). And those scans weren't faked -- they're in this issue. So all the questions about Sony's grand plans are still relevant, but at least we know the rumors aren't just a big hoax.
