Bradenton's R.Lum.R performs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live': Watch

It isn't every day that the Tampa Bay music scene sees love on late-night TV.

But it happened on Wednesday, when Bradenton native R.Lum.R made his network TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"Shout out to Bradenton!" Kimmel shouted as he introduced the singer-guitarist born Reggie Williams, who performed the steamy, alt-soul single Frustrated, from his upcoming EP Afterimage.

It's the latest big moment in R.Lum.R's big year, which also includes millions of spins on Spotify and a couple of features by Rolling Stone, which in June named him one of "10 New Artists You Need to Know."

R.Lum.R. -- pronounced "R. Lamar" -- was raised in Bradenton and studied music around Florida before moving to Nashville to pursue music full-time.
