A stolen truck crashed into a St. Petersburg house. Police are looking for the driver.

St. Petersburg police are looking for the driver of a stolen pickup truck who crashed it into a utility pole, a car and then a home early Sunday morning.

The silver Chevrolet truck was reported stolen from the Meadows Apartments parking lot at 11687 7th Way N Saturday morning, according to a news release from the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Almost a day later, police responded to a crash involving the truck at a St. Petersburg home.

About 4 a.m. Sunday, the truck crashed first into a utility pole, then into a parked car and finally into the home at 6949 17th St. N, police said.

By the time police arrived, the driver had fled, the release said. No one was known to be injured in the crashes, and the house sustained no structural damage.

Police are asking anyone with information about the driver to call 893-7780.
