CLEARWATER — A 66-year old man died Saturday morning after a car made a U-turn and struck him on Coachman Rd., the Florida Highway Patrol said. Stanley Heath was driving his motorcycle east when 85-year-old Patricia Neal made the U-turn and drifted into his path. Heath was thrown from his motorcycle after hitting the front of Neal's vehicle. The man died on his way to Mease Countryside Hospital, authorities said. A third vehicle was involved in the crash, overturning itself as it tried to avoid the collision. The highway patrol did not say if charges or an investigation are pending.
