A 21-year-old Wesley Chapel man died early Sunday morning after he drove his car into a concrete construction barrier.

At about 3 a.m., Anthony John Boyer was driving his 2001 Aston Martin eastbound on State Road 56 in Pasco County, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

"For unknown reason," Boyer failed to heed more than one "Road Closed" sign as he approached the intersection of Meadow Point Boulevard, the release said. His car crashed into a concrete barrier and caught fire.

Boyer died at the scene, the release said. Alcohol was a factor in the crash.
