TAMPA — Police are looking for the suspects who they said forced their way into a home on Saturday, fatally shot a 20-year-old man and threatened his pregnant girlfriend.

The home invasion robbery took place at about 12:19 p.m. Saturday, according to Tampa police, which did not disclose how many suspects trook part in the incident or how many are being sought.

They forced their way into 2409 W State St., police said, and demanded money cash from the 19 year-old woman who lived there. She was eight months pregnant at the time.

Her boyfriend, Velazquez-Osorio, was in bed but got up to find out what was happening. Then one of the suspects fatally shot him and they threatened the woman.

The incident was not random, police said. It appears that this home was targeted in a drug-related incident.

Police released video of a silver or light-colored sedan that may be connected to the incident.
