Craig Holley was named director of Consumer Marketing in December 2010. He joined the Times in 2002 as a circulation manager in retail marketing. In his current position, he is responsible for all aspects of newspaper sales including direct marketing, retention, retail sales, Newspaper in Education (NIE), customer service, telemarketing and retail distribution of numerous paid and unpaid publications, including tbt* .
He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration – marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
After graduating from college, Craig worked in a few different fields, focusing on different aspects of sales and marketing. In 1998 he joined the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a regional supervisor. After four years and numerous advancements, Craig left the Midwest for Florida and the Tampa Bay Times. Working with the Times he has had numerous opportunities to be a part of new experiences. He was involved with the launch team for the New York Times distribution, the leader in the creation of the distribution model of tbt* and led the way implementing advanced technology to advance retail sales.
Craig enjoys spending time coaching his children in their various sporting endeavors and serving in the middle school ministry at his church. He lives with his wife Jessika and two daughters, Isabella and Willow, in Manatee County.
