Dan is publisher and president of Tampa Bay Newspapers, an affiliate of Times Publishing Company, which includes six weekly publications, two monthly publications and the TBN Weekly website. These community newspapers serve Seminole, Pinellas Park, Largo, Clearwater, Dunedin and the beaches from St. Pete Beach to ClearwaterBeach. Dan is responsible for business operations, monthly specialty products, content, design and expansion.
Dan joined the Times Publishing organization in September 2002 after a 25 year career with the Osceola Group of Florida Sun Publications, publishers of community newspapers in Osceola and Orange counties. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, he began his newspaper career in sales, and moved through the ranks to become publisher, a position he held for the last 10 years at Florida Sun Publications.
Having a strong belief in the value of community newspapers, Dan is a member of both the Community Papers of Florida and Florida Press Association. He is a past-president of both organizations and continues to serve on both of these boards. Locally, Dan serves on the board of directors of the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber.
Dan and his wife Michele live in Seminole. They have three grown children, Sara (26), Daniel (24) and Rachel (22).
