Senior Living Guide, The Yellow Book of Senior Living Options, is seeking an experienced sales and marketing professional to fill the position of Associate Publisher for Hillsborough & Pasco counties.
Primary responsibility is to sell advertising to assisted living facilities, home health companies and other businesses that cater to the growing population of senior citizens in the Tampa Bay area while maintaining solid, long term customer relationships and attending industry networking events.
REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in selling print and online advertising preferred.
- Knowledge of the assisted living, senior industry welcomed.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Proficient use of Windows based programs.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Network within associations & organizations that cater to the senior industry.
- Be able to attend activities outside normal work hours.
- Considerable sales ability, tenacity and confidence needed to make presentations, cold calls and to handle objections face-to-face.
- Must have commanding knowledge of the consultative sales process and the clients business needs
- Must possess strong professional communication skills, in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Provide full account service to manage all aspects of the client account from billing issues to maintaining service after the sale.
