Advertising Account Executive Hillsborough
||Primary responsibility is to sell advertising across the full suite of Tampa Bay Times products while maintaining solid, long term customer relationships with retail businesses in Hillsborough County. Meet assigned revenue budget & strategic product goals. Increase revenue, active accounts and new contracts over previous year. Make competitive media calls. Develop each account to its maximum potential while utilizing technology, including mobile tablets to prepare and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to prospective and current clients. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of the market and competition. Proficient use of Windows and Apple based programs. Good listening skills as well as accurate math skills are necessary. Good organization and time management skills; problem solving, decision making, and strong communication skills, both oral and written. Be able to attend activities outside normal work hours and network within clubs & organizations. Considerable sales ability, tenacity and confidence needed to make presentations, cold calls and to handle objections face-to-face. You must have a commanding knowledge of the consultative sales process and clients\' business needs. Provide full account service to manage all aspects of the client account from billing issues to maintaining service after the sale. Media Sales experience preferred.
