Advertising Sales Executive

||Primary responsibility is to sell advertising across the Times full suite of products while maintaining solid, long term customer relationships in the Automotive category of business. Meet assigned revenue number or budget & strategic product goals. Plan ad budgets with clients. Make competitive media calls. Develop each account to its maximum potential. Prepare and deliver, face-to-face, sales presentations to prospective and current clients. REQUIREMENTS: Know the competition and be a marketing consultant to your customers. Proficient use of Windows based programs. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Good listening skills. Accurate math skills necessary. Good organization and time management skills. Problem solving and decision making. Be able to attend activities outside normal work hours. Network within clubs & organizations in your category of business. Considerable sales ability, tenacity and confidence needed to make presentations, cold calls and to handle objections face-to-face. Must have commanding knowledge of the consultative sales process and the clients' business needs. Must possess strong rapport building and professional communication skills, in person, on the phone, and in writing. Provide full account service to manage all aspects of the client account from billing issues to maintaining service after the sale.
