Tim Gunn just 'makes it work' for USF fashionistas

Did you miss Tim Gunn this week at University of South Florida in Tampa? The chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne and chief coach-cheerleader for the contestants on the deliciously addictive Project Runway entertained a giddy crowd Wednesday night. Deal Diva Colleen Jenkins was there and has some highlights. First, Gunn hates Crocs: "I get the comfort part. But when I look down, I see a hoof." Nice! And he's a man of the people in this down economy: "If I never see another $26,000 handbag, I will be perfectly happy." (Thank you!) And for you tummy showoffs out there, bad news on bare midriffs: "It belongs on the beach. I don't believe it belongs anywhere else."
