It probably won't make up for getting spit up on or for hours spent waiting by the phone long past curfew, but moms get special treatment throughout the bay area this weekend.

Yolanda Adams: The Grammy-winning gospel superstar performs a Mother's Day concert Sunday at the USF Sun Dome. Officials there say the concert is at 3:30 p.m. despite a Ticketmaster note that the time has changed. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. at 4202 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. $25-$50. (813) 974-3002.
