"Itís wild to think back on starting at ABC, and the fact that my new co-workers had no idea that the young, excited meteorologist before them had just left a mental hospital the week before she stood at the same desk on Good Morning America,íí she writes. Zee, a graduate of Valparaiso University, is also the voice of Dr. Zephyr Skye, the storm-chasing alien on Disney Juniorís Miles From Tomorrowland, and with her husband, Ben Aaron, stars in Renovation Realities: Ben & Ginger on DIY Network. e_SClBWhatís on your nightstand?

Honestly, this past month Iíve read nothing but childrenís books to my son Adrian. Goodnight Numbers (by Danica McKellar). It is a favorite right now. Iím always in support of women in STEM/STEAM, like the author. It focuses on more than just counting numbers but on their place in our lives.

Do you have a favorite book that has to do with weather?

Anything to do with the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. We studied the atmosphere surrounding this epic story, and Gales of November (by Robert J. Hemming) is a great tale.

When it comes to emotional health, do you keep a particular book on your nightstand?

Iíve found great help in reading 10% Happier by my friend and colleague Dan Harris. Meditation is the next frontier of health, as Dan puts it.
