Events: Jack Harris, Jeff Klinkenberg to sign their books

Radio personality Jack Harris (Unwrapped) and St. Petersburg Times Real Florida columnist Jeff Klinkenberg (Pilgrim in the Land of Alligators) will sign their books from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Venue, 2675 Ulmerton Road, St. Petersburg.

The South Pasadena Cultural Arts Council presents St. Petersburg Times environmental reporter Craig Pittman (Paving Paradise: Florida's Vanishing Wetlands and the Failure of No Net Loss) discussing the book he co-wrote with Matthew Waite at 5 p.m. Thursday at South Pasadena City Hall, 7047 Sunset Drive S.

Photographer and conservationist Carlton Ward Jr. (Florida Cowboys: Keepers of the Last Frontier) will talk about and sign his book at 7 p.m. Thursday at Inkwood Books, 216 S Armenia Ave., Tampa.

The Clearwater Library Foundation presents "An Evening With the Author" featuring Andrew Huse (The Columbia Restaurant: Celebrating a Century of History, Culture, and Cuisine) at 7 p.m. Friday at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 Osceola Ave. Tickets are $20; call (727) 791-9439.
