Johanna Moran (The Wives of Henry Oades) will discuss and sign her historical novel at 6 p.m. Monday at Bookstore1Sarasota, 1359 Main St., Sarasota.

Glenn Freeman (Traveling Light) will read from and sign his book of poetry at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bookstore1Sarasota.

Civil rights activist, banker and cancer survivor Robert Samuels (Don't Tell Me I Can't) will discuss and sign his memoir at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chester H. Ferguson Law Center, 1610 N Tampa St., Tampa.

The Tampa Bay History Center's Florida Conversations series presents Lu Vickers (Cypress Gardens: America's Tropical Wonderland) discussing and signing her book at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the center, 801 Old Water St., Tampa.

Lynn S. Combes (A Garden Full of Butterflies) will discuss and sign her novel at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oasis Coffee House, 9213 Little Road, New Port Richey.
