Events: Motocross champ Carey Hart to sign 'Inked,' his new book

Carey Hart (Inked: The Life of the Tattoo), star of the A&E series Inked and motocross champion, will discuss and sign his book at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Inkwood Books, 216 S Armenia Ave., Tampa.

Deborah Sharp (Mama Does Time) will read and sign her new mystery at 7 p.m. Thursday at Inkwood Books.

Gloria Tesch (Maradonia and the Seven Bridges) will sign her fantasy novel at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Library, 138 E Lemon St.

Dave Boling (Guernica) will read and sign his historical novel at 2 p.m. Saturday at Inkwood Books.

Fred Ernst, M.D. (Truth, Lies and the OR) will sign his book at 3 p.m. Saturday at Haslam's Book Store, 2025 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.

The University of South Florida Humanities Institute will present award-winning poet James Brock discussing his book Nearly Florida at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Grace Allen Room, fourth floor of the USF Library, 4200 E Fowler Ave., Tampa.

The University of Tampa's Writers at the University Series presents author Tom Miller, winner of the Lowell Thomas Award for best travel book, reading from and discussing his book Trading With the Enemy: A Yankee Travels Through Castro's Cuba at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Reeves Theater at the Vaughn Canter, 401 W Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.
