Poet Sandra Alcosser (A Fish to Feed All Hunger) will sign her books at 3 p.m. today at Bookstore1Sarasota.

The Cathedral Church of St. Peter's lunchtime book talk series presents University of South Florida St. Petersburg history professor Adrian O'Connor discussing Adam Gopnik's book The Table Comes First at noon Tuesday at the church, 140 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg. Lunch is available for $5.

Bestselling author Ridley Pearson (Kingdom Keepers VI: Dark Passage) will sign his latest book in the series set in Disney theme parks and cruise ships at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Books-a-Million Brandon, 839 Brandon Town Center Mall.

The Friends of the Land O'Lakes Library present the fourth annual Local Author Fair, featuring David Berger, Val Elder, Kat Heckenbach, Haimes Hensley, Donald Kidwell, Dick Lowrie, Alison Martin, Kim Moore, Lisa Peterson, Iris and Michael Raie, and Evelyn J.
