Book Talk

The University of Tampa's Writers at the University series presents poet Tim Seibles (Buffalo Head Solos) reading and discussing his work at 7 p.m. Monday at Scarfone/Hartley Gallery, 310 N Boulevard, Tampa.

The Cathedral Church of St. Peter's lunchtime book talk series presents Harriet Deer, English professor emerita of the University of South Florida, discussing "The Sin of Innocence in Othello" at noon Tuesday at the cathedral, 140 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg.

Carin Clevidence (The House on Salt Hay Road) will discuss and sign her novel at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bookstore1Sarasota, 1359 Main St., Sarasota.

The University of South Florida's Frontier Forum series presents Stephen J. Dubner (co-author of Freakonomics) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tampa Theatre, 711 N Franklin St., Tampa.

Journalist and poet Eliza Griswold (The Tenth Parallel: Dispatches from the Fault Line Between Christianity and Islam) will discuss her book and her reporting from war zones at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Fox Hall, Eckerd College, 4200 54th Ave. S, St Petersburg.
