Events: Professor Robert Taylor discusses his book, 'Rebel Store House,' in Tampa

The Florida Conversations Series at the Tampa Bay History Center presents Robert Taylor (Rebel Store House: Florida's Contribution to the Confederacy), professor of humanities and communication at Florida Institute of Technology, discussing his book at 3 p.m. today at the museum, 801 Old Water St., Tampa.

The Scholar's Choice Series at the Clearwater Main Library presents Maryhelen Harmon, retired associate professor of English at the University of South Florida, discussing Lord Byron's major works, including Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and Don Juan, at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 100 N Osceola Ave.

The Four Seasons Author Series of the Friends of the Library of Tampa-Hillsborough County presents Donald Green (Third Party Matters: Politics, Presidents and Third Parties in American History) discussing his book at noon Friday at University Club of Tampa, 1 City Center, 38th floor.
