Events: Ray Weaver, Mike Huckabee, Burton Hersh to sign books

Ray Weaver (Tightrope to Justice) will sign his mystery novel at 1 p.m. today at the Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive.

TV personality and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (Can't Wait Till Christmas) will sign his new children's book at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Circle Books, 478 John Ringling Blvd., Sarasota; and at noon Wednesday at Sam's Club, 3530 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland.

The Florida Holocaust Museum will present William Lagano and Ernst Drucker (Ernst: Escaping the Horrors of the Nazi Occupation) discussing their book at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the museum, 55 Fifth St. S, St. Petersburg.

The Florida Writers Association St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Main Library will present a Local Authors Showcase and Holiday Book Fair, featuring Aaron Alper, Margo Hammond, Mary Ann Marger, Rick Wilber and others, from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the library, 3745 Ninth Ave. N. Journalist and historian Burton Hersh (Edward Kennedy: An Intimate Biography) will sign his book at 3 p.m. Saturday at Haslam's Book Store, 2025 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.
