Events: Tim Dorsey to discuss his new novel, 'Nuclear Jellyfish'


The East Lake Community Library Author's Showcase presents bestselling writer Tim Dorsey, talking about his new Florida novel, Nuclear Jellyfish, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library, 4123 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor.

Saint Leo University presents acclaimed author Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) talking about his new historical novel, The Given Day, at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Student Community Center on the main campus, 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo.

Dennis Lehane will also appear at the Historic Asolo Theatre at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota. SPCA Tampa Bay presents a behavior demonstration and book signing by Sarah Wilson, author of the new book Dogology: What Your Relationship With Your Dog Reveals About You, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the SPCA, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo.
