Tim Dorsey (Pineapple Grenade) will discuss and sign his comic crime novel at 1 p.m. today at Barnes & Noble Clearwater, 23654 U.S. 19 N; and at 3 p.m. today at Countryside Library, 2741 State Road 580, Clearwater.

Ann Hood (Angel of the Battlefield and Little Lion) will discuss and sign the first two books in her series for readers ages 8-12 at 2 p.m. today at Inkwood Books, 216 S Armenia Ave., Tampa.

Kristen Simmons (Article 5) will discuss and sign her dystopian YA novel at 7 p.m. Thursday at Inkwood Books.
