ESPN radio hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg (Mike & Mike's Rules for Sports and Life) will sign their book at 6 p.m. Thursday at Inkwood Books, 216 S Armenia Ave., Tampa.
Food and lifestyle writer Denise Gee (Porch Parties: Cocktail Recipes and Easy Ideas for Outdoor Entertaining) will talk about and sign her book, and offer sample refreshments, at 5 p.m. Friday at Inkwood Books; and at 4 p.m. Saturday on the verandah of the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club, 501 Fifth Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg Times environmental reporter Craig Pittman (Manatee Insanity: Inside the War Over Florida's Most Famous Endangered Species) will talk about and sign his book at 2 p.m. Saturday at Inkwood Books.
Ampersand Books, Studio@620, Zombie Nation Publishing and the city of St. Petersburg present St. Pete Reads, the first in a reading series by local and national authors; the inaugural event features authors Ian Vasquez (Lonesome Point), Joseph Riippi (Do Something! Do Something! Do Something!) and Benjamin Lowenkron (Preacher's Blues) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S, St. Petersburg. Admission $5.
