Rogers is the executive director of Feeding America Tampa Bay. By year's end, the organization will distribute enough donated surplus food to provide more than 1.2 million meals for the hungry in a 10-county service area. "I like to say that in this work, we find it takes a lot of helping hands,'' Rogers said of her current job. "We're here making sure the food gets to the people who distribute it to those in need.'' Before joining the organization in October 2008, Rogers had a 20-year career at Cargill Inc. and the Mosaic Co., based in Minnesota, where she held positions that included controller, international business manager and vice president of sales.
