Since Kevin Hart posted vague apologies to his wife and children on social media last weekend suggesting he was the victim of extortion or blackmail, plenty of people have been buzzing about what's going on.
On Instagram, Hart said: "I made a bad error in judgment Ö Sending so many apologies to my wife and kids. I gotta do better and I will. I'm not perfect and I never claimed to be Ö I love you all."
Hart's wife, Eniko Parrish, is currently pregnant. Hart has a daughter and son, 12 and 9, with his ex-wife Torrei Hart.
Law enforcement is investigating the extortion/blackmail attempt and plenty of media outlets have been trying to dig up all they can about it.
Here's what TMZ has to say:
The leading website of celebrity gossip news says Hart partied with a woman named Montia Sabbag (she also has gone by Montiah Sabagg) for a weekend in August. TMZ identifies her as "a stripper who hits up whatever clubs she can book."
The website says she is a Long Beach, Calif., resident who is 27 years old. She met Hart during a "pretty wild weekend in Vegas" last month, the website says.
A 4 minute and 47 second video has surfaced showing two people who look like Hart and Sabbag walking around a room "in various stages of undress," TMZ reports.
TMZ also reports that Sabbag denies any involvement with the video. Law enforcement is talking with other people possibly involved and serving search warrants.
Apparently, the extortionist sent encrypted emails to Hart's reps seeking to extort multiple millions from him for the video. Meanwhile, Sabbag has hired a lawyer, according to TMZ.
In addition, Page Six has this to say:
They say the extortion demand was $10 million, while his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, "has plenty to say about the demise of their marriage."
She has said before that Hart's infidelity ended their marriage and Hart has acknowledged that in his stand up routines.
Inside Edition asked her if she thought Hart would cheat again, to which she responded: "I don't know. I can't say yes, I can't say no. All I can say is if it happened to me, it could happen to anyone."
And here's what PEOPLE has to say:
The magazine describes the video as "sexually provocative."
"Someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt," Hart's rep said in a statement to PEOPLE. "As law enforcement is involved, we cannot comment further as it could affect the investigation."
PEOPLE says Parrish was photographed Sunday with her wedding ring on.
