'Zoolander' sequel? Say it isn't so, Owen
Little Fockers is rocketing to the local multiplex soon enough, but Owen Wilson said he may soon be starring in another unnecessary sequel to a comedy that overstayed its welcome: That's right, there may be a Zoolander 2. "I just saw (Ben Stiller) now and we're talking about doing another Zoolander movie," Wilson told Deadline.com. "I think there's a really good script and I think we're going to do it." He added that he thought the rest of the cast may be up for doing a sequel, too. Why is it that it takes something as rich in storytelling and character mythology as The Hobbit years to get off the ground, but the sequel to tripe like Zoolander can be green-lit in a matter of hours? That's what happens when you make all your movies with your best friend.
Jennifer Grey gets her back surgery
Dancing With the Stars fans can now breathe a little easier — winner Jennifer Grey had her back surgery last week and is recovering nicely. She'll be back to flying lifts in no time, we're sure. Dr. Robert S. Bray Jr. told People he removed "a huge fragment" from the 50-year-old's back while repairing a ruptured disc, an injury that almost forced the contestant off the show after she felt tremendous pain following the first night of the show's finale. "I'm still recovering at home. I have to rest a bit more, but I feel great — completely pain free," Grey told the mag. Bray said that she "can go back to her family, Pilates, dancing — just about anything she wants to do."
No glee for LiLo
Lindsay Lohan is complaining about how Gwyneth Paltrow hurt her feelings by calling her out on Glee. Wow, it's been a while since we've seen a pointless feud come to life. "Lindsay is so upset with Gwyneth," Dina Lohan — who else? — told RadarOnline. "Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, 'Why did she have to do that?' " For the uninitiated, Paltrow had a role as a Spanish teacher who asked the class, "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?" and then asked them in Spanish, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?" Poor little LiLo! "Lindsay thought she was a friend and it was disappointing," Dina said.
Hurley is moving on
Actor Elizabeth Hurley has split from her husband, allegedly cheating on him with an Australian cricket player, according to a British tabloid. After a weekend report from News of the World, the cat was out of the bag that Hurley had been having an affair with Shane Warne. That was news to Hurley's husband, Indian businessman Arun Nayar — well, not quite news. "For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago," Hurley tweeted via @ElizabethHurley. "Our close family & friends were aware of this." Warne also confirmed on his website that he and wife, Simone Callahan, were done months ago. So, really, we're the only ones just finding this out.
